Madness Countdown - 9 Weeks

24 finished blocks

Nine weeks from today is the eve of March Madness 2019 which is the deadline for completing my husband's T-shirt quilt.

Here is what got done this week:

• got more interfacing (thanks Lisa!) 
• interfaced and cut the blocks out of the remaining T-shirts 
• assembled the 4-patch blocks

I now have 24 blocks ready to go and am giving myself 2 weeks for the next phase of the project. By Wednesday (1/30) I need to:

• cut all the sashing and border strips (dark green because it is T's favorite color)
• arrange the blocks into 2 quilt sides that hopefully both look good despite the random nature of the selected shirts
• assemble the 8 rows (3 blocks in each with sashing between each block)
