Lisa's Forward Progress: February Start

February's project is #8, so from my list is Cross Winds. I participated in a fabric swap of red and turquoise strips of various sizes at a quilt retreat last fall. I have sorted and organized all of the fabrics I received, and have cut all of the strips I need for my background fabric (that is the grey fabric in the picture).

The next step I have on this project is to start making blocks. By the end of the month I hope to have some blocks complete, and hope to have the quilt top finished by next fall retreat!
