Drop and Give Me Twenty Challenge

Usually the crazy challenges I sign up for involve reading, but this one is a quilting challenge. Quilting Hottie Haven is once again hosting the Drop and Give Me 20 challenge which asks us to quilt for 20 minutes each day in February in an effort to work through the piles of UFOs most of us are surrounded by.

Here is my official statement:
"I, owner of too many in-progress quilt projects, am joining Quilting Hottie Haven's third annual DaGMT event, and pledge to quilt for at least 20 minutes every day of the month of February, 2014. In doing so I hope to finish some of the many quilting projects piled under my drafting table and I think Beth Helfter is brilliant for coming up with this concept and inspiring me to join."

My plan is to put in my 20 minutes of sewing each day, mostly right after I get home from work, and post an update on my progress at least weekly.

  1. Great idea! Not a lot of time each day, but potential for good progress :-)

    2. I won't "officially" sign up, but will definitely give it a whirl. I'll be away the last week of February, and probably won't be feasible to take any hand-work with me, but I'll give it a try from the 1st through 23rd for sure.
