OMG February Finish

Streak of Lightning top, Feb 2019
I completed my #onemonthlygoal for February 2019 which was to finish the top for the Streak of Lightning Quilt I am making for the  Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project. 
The top is done, the hunt is on for backing fabric, and it will go to my friend Mary Kate for quilting as soon as the backing is ready. 
Linking up with  Oh Scrap! this week as well as the One Monthly Goal project at Elm Street Quilts.

      Thanks! A bunch of these scraps are left over from the clothes of my Mom's that I made memory quilts from and it was nice to revisit them on another project.

    I'm working on a Carolina Hurricane scrap quilt for OMG too. March is my month to assemble the top and get it quilted. Beautiful work!
