One Monthly Goal

Pieces for North Carolina Hurricane Quilt
I cut all the pieces to make a Streak of Lightning quilt from Pat Speth's Big Book of Nickel Quilts. I am making this quilt to donate to the Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project. My #onemonthlygoal for January 2019 is to make the 270 small 2-patch units I will need and add the extra piece to each to make all the light and dark units I will need to assemble the 30 blocks it will take to make the quilt.
This is definitely a scrappy project as there are at most 6 squares of any one "dark" fabric and most of the darks are single squares of a unique fabric. The "lights" for this quilt are various white/cream tone-on-tones and all came from my stash. Linking up with  Oh Scrap! this week.
