Saturday Snapshot

NH Democratic Primary Ballot (unmarked) 2016

The quiet following New Hamshire's first in the nation primary is lovely. My phone isn't ringing, my mailbox isn't stuffed with flyers telling me who (and who not) to vote for, and roving bands of canvassers are no longer filling the sidewalks. The primary is important, but it is also exhausting.  For those of you outside the Granite State I thought you might be interested to see how long the list of candidates on our ballot was. Only a couple get national media attention, but there is a long list to consider. The republican list was even longer. I'm linking this up with Saturday Snapshot at West Metro Mommy.

  3. I am amazed at the long list. Isn't it great that we get to chose who we want to be president. I like all the hustle and bustle of elections. I am glad that it has calmed down for you.

  4. That's interesting. I don't know too much about the presidential politics in America right now, mostly just what comes up on the international news.

  5. I don't envy you...I remember Primary time when I lived in Massachusetts. In Oregon, our Primary is so late that the nominees are already decided before we even get our ballots!
